Preview: New Football Manager on the way
21/11/2006 11:46AM
Neopoly's software developers are currently working at full blast in order to bring a new version of the popular virtual football manager to life.
The current version is being used in the European Yahoo! network at the moment, having more than 20,000 loyal fans.
The new version comes up with a load of modifications and improvements:
- The user interface will be completely re-designed, including a redesign of all graphics.
- There'll be an extended finance section. Players now receive salaries, different stadiums generate different revenues, as do new sponsoring contracts. There are bonuses for additional TV rights, interests etc.
- The transfer market will be re-worked. It's now possible to directly offer players and to earn money by selling players to other users. On the other hand, one does not have to train his squad any more, but now can simply buy top players.
- Users can organize themselves in mini leagues, they can help each other by fan friendships and talent promotion, can exchange hints in the league forum and will have an own league ranking.
- Apart from these major novelties, dozens of game details will be re-worked as well.
We're looking forward to test the new software with you as soon as a first beta version is available.
Here you'll find the current Yahoo! Soccer Manager!
