Description

A different kind of gold rush: Users search for items on the web sites of different marketing partners. The central element is a gold nugget. A nice graphic (e. g. the photo of a big gold nugget) with a small text is hidden within the partner site’s content area (e. g. a stock information service). By clicking on the graphic, the user “finds” the nugget.

Every time a nugget is found, a popup window appears that contains an info site with further explanations. The user will see the amount of nuggets he has collected so far, an info text and an image of the prizes.

Depending on the running time, the concept can be varied: users either search for one nugget per day for a longer time period, or they search for several nuggets if the period is shorter.

Every nugget that is found stands for a lot in a lottery wheel. At the end of the event, the main prize will be raffled among all participants. The more nuggets a user has, the better are his chances.
